If you are searching for skilled oral surgical care, choose Inland Empire Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Our practice is committed to providing you with a smooth and pleasant experience from the initial phone call through each office visit. We combine years of surgical experience with advanced technology to provide predictable clinical outcomes. Consider some of the specific ways in which we can help restore you to full oral and maxillofacial health.

Dental Implants

The gold standard for replacing lost teeth is dental implant surgery, which involves small titanium posts being placed in the gums to serve as artificial tooth roots. Dental prostheses are attached to these implants, restoring your smile’s form and function.

Bone Grafting

Without adequate jawbone, you may not be fit for teeth replacement with dental implants. Fortunately, our surgeons can regenerate bone tissue through bone grafting, which can prepare you for a successful dental implant procedure.

Wisdom Teeth Removal

When left untreated, the wisdom teeth can result in a number of problems, including impaction, chronic pain, crowding, and increased risk of infection. To prevent these symptoms, you may wish to simply have the wisdom teeth extracted.

All-on-4® Implants

If you have experienced the loss of many teeth, you may be a good candidate for All-on-4®. This advanced dental implant methodology provides full mouth rehabilitation, using as few as 4 implants to replace an entire arch.

Immediate Implants

We may be able to provide implants at the same time as your teeth extraction. Additionally, temporary prosthetic teeth can be placed during this procedure, allowing you to immediately enjoy a healthy, natural-looking smile.

Zygomatic Implants

Some patients lack the upper jawbone needed to anchor their dental implants. Zygomatic implants anchor to the cheekbone, not the jawbone, making dental restoration a more viable and accessible option.

TMJ Treatment

There are a number of treatment modalities available for TMJ disorders, including non-surgical therapies as well as surgery. Our surgeons are prepared to offer corrective jaw procedures to the patients who require them.

Corrective Jaw Surgery

Sometimes, mechanical issues with the jaw can only be addressed via corrective surgery. Through corrective jaw surgery, our doctors can help to fix skeletal misalignment issues, restoring your jaw to a healthy form and function.

Pediatric Oral Surgery

Our surgeons are pleased to treat patients of all ages. For children and teenagers, some of our most common treatment options include extraction of extra teeth, removal of wisdom teeth, and more.

Anesthesia Services

Patient comfort and safety are among our top priorities. To help you have a pleasant treatment experience, we can provide a number of anesthesia options. We will be happy to discuss these treatments at your consultation.

Sleep Apnea

Oral surgery should be considered a primary line of treatment for sleep apnea. Sometimes, corrective surgery to the jaw is the best way to remove breathing obstructions, providing long-lasting relief.

Impacted Canines

Teeth become impacted when they fail to erupt through the gum tissue. Our surgeons can create an opening through which these teeth can erupt. The exposed teeth are then moved into place via an orthodontic device and chain.

Oral Pathology

Inland Empire Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons is pleased to provide full oral pathology services. If you have a worrisome or abnormal growth in your mouth, we are pleased to identify, biopsy, diagnose, and treat as necessary.

Facial Trauma

Facial trauma commonly occurs as the result of an accident. Our surgeons have skill and experience addressing the various symptoms of facial trauma, including soft tissue damage, bone damage, or damage to the teeth.

MSE, MARPE

A narrow maxilla, or upper jaw, can cause crowded teeth, nasal obstruction, or obstructive sleep apnea. Traditional dental expanders are only effective in younger children.

PAOO, SFOT

PAOO is a surgical procedure performed at the start of orthodontic treatment. The surgical stimulation increases bone remodeling and induces a process known as the regional acceleratory phenomenon (RAP), which encourages rapid tooth movement.

Temporary Anchorage Devices

Temporary Anchorage Devices are screws or plates made from biocompatible titanium alloy implanted into your jaw bone to act as a strong anchor point to help realign teeth. This will allow your teeth to move in directions that would otherwise be impossible, or otherwise negatively affect your other teeth.

Implant-Retained Overdenture

Like traditional complete dentures, implant-retained overdentures can replace all your missing teeth. However, instead of just sitting on top of the gums, your oral surgeon attaches the dentures to dental implants, providing a more secure fit.

Apicoectomy

An apicoectomy is a surgical procedure to remove the tip of a tooth’s root. If you experience an infection in a tooth after a root canal, you may require an apicoectomy to save the damaged tooth.

Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw

MRONJ is a rare but serious jaw bone condition caused by some meds used for osteoporosis/bone cancer. Fosamax®, Boniva®, Prolia®, Reclast®, and Zometa are among them.

Frenectomy

The frenum is a normal band of tissue that attaches to your lip and tongue. These attachments can be abnormal, causing restriction. Frenectomies involve the removal of the aberrant tissue to relieve this restriction.
